Kenekt Digital Team

Gregor Blair

Co-founder of Kenekt Digital

Greg is co-founder of Kenekt Digital and is interested in where business and social change intersect. He uses his background in Philosophy and International Development to develop new ways of marrying these two areas, and aims to build an organisation which is maximally responsible, maximally useful as a service, while at the same time fulfilling its function to bring wealth to its employees. He runs the company with his 2 best friends, who share his passions.

Greg is a huge Integral Theory nut, and loves the work of Ken Wilber and others in the Integral movement. This is a constant source of wisdom and inspiration for him, and is what guides him in the development of his company.

Greg grew up on a-hill-in-the-middle-of-nowhere, Kintyre, Scotland. In 2006, he attended Edinburgh University to study Philosophy and International Relations. He had a wonderful exchange year at Helsinki University, Finland during 2007-2008, and graduated in 2010. In 2013, Greg packed up and came to Amsterdam to complete an Msc in International Development. He never left, and now lives happily in his new home, De Pijp, Amstedam.

Clay Naylor

Born in North Carolina, Clay moved to Amsterdam in 2014 for a Master’s Degree in International Development at UvA. Before that, he studied Anthropology, Biology, and Psychology in his home state. After graduation from UvA, he headed a small branding and design company in Amsterdam before joining his buddy Gregor to forge a path forward together. He is grateful to be able to work surrounded by friends, in an office filled with new ideas and insatiable energy, and at a company dedicated to leaving a positive impact.

Tomás Vilas-Boas Lebreiro

Project Manager & Business Advisor

Tomás, an avid footballer and surfer, has been working with Kenekt Digital since February 2019. Tomás was born in Amsterdam but moved to sunny southern Portugal as a child where his parents own and run a B&B. He moved to Amsterdam for his studies in 2011 and hasn’t sincer left his beloved neighbourhood of Jordaan (except for the yearly “surfcation” in Portugal, of course!).

His interests lay in finding pragmatic solutions for complex issues, and translating these into the perfect plan of action. This mindset derives from his background in Business Studies and Political Communication, which leads to a balanced relation between objectivity and creative thinking.

Having written his master’s thesis about Personality Tailored Political Communication, he is very interested in the areas where psychology, persuasion, technology, and ethics meet. He is inspired not only the tricks and methods that are used by power structures and big companies, but also the “bridge-function” that communication can have within an organization. He joined Greg and Clay excited for the opportunity to work within an organization where there is freedom, fluidity, constant learning, and the possibility of working on many different complex issues.

Calum Blair

HR – Hiring Master

Calum is a recent addition to the Kenekt Digital team and works remotely from sunny Scotland. Having just finished a Masters in Philosophy and Literature at Dundee, Calum was intrigued by the forward-thinking ethos of Kenekt Digital with the emphasis on sustainability and integral theory, and decided to swap academics for business.Calum has always been interested in the exchange of ideas especially around how we make sense of our increasingly complex contemporary society. One of the reasons he found working for Kenekt Digital so appealing was because it has a vision of business which is responsive to the dynamics of a changing world.

Calum grew up in the North-West of Scotland just outside of a small village called Ullapool. Since this sheltered upbringing he has broadened his horizons by living in Wales, Amsterdam, Madrid and London before settling back closer to home in Edinburgh. In his spare time Calum is a keen literature and film buff. He also enjoys Scottish traditional music and can often be found tearing it up on the wooden flute in pubs around Edinburgh. Ever since he attended international school Atlantic College as a youngster, he has had an interest in international understanding and getting to know different cultures which has ultimately resulted in a love of travel. After graduating from Edinburgh Universityin 2009, he has been working in a variety of roles including as an English Teacher in Madrid and various financial services roles.
